The swerve in the Camry’s new grille is something we appreciate. It shows the timeline of its evolution straight across and capitalizes on Toyota’s new design philosophy. Trims like the XSE get LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights for a look that shines. The headlight design this year is less winged, but it goes further back into the hood area for a more refined appearance. And then there’s Bi-LED combination headlights on the base model L and other lower trims. The dark gray front grille of the L is stunning, but then you’ve got a gloss-black front grille with sport mesh insert on the XSE V6, a beautiful look that really rocks.
The base model starts off with outstanding features that make the Camry famous for its value. Air conditioning gets an air filter, not just air conditioning. Then there’s integrated backup camera with projected path, a 4.2-inch TFT multi-information display, and beautiful fabric-trimmed front seats. It gets fancy going up on higher trims, though. The XSE V6 features leather-trimmed multi-stage heated front seats (with option for ventilated seats as well). It also features 3-mode switch for Eco, Normal, or Sport driving and a 10-inch head-up display.

Finally, there’s Toyota Safety Sense, the award-winning driver-assist system that improves everyday drive quality and keeps you safe against driving mistakes. The base model features pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, automatic high beams, and dynamic radar cruise control for a drive that’s smooth and safe. The XSE V6 gets a blind spot monitor with rear cross traffic alert. Overall, it’s the safest Camry yet and sure to nab more than a few awards this year.
